Approximately 18,424 candidates took the Punjab State Civil Services (PCS) preliminary exam across 28 centers in Ludhiana on Sunday, organized by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). The exam was split into two shifts. This year's PCS exam follows a five-year hiatus, previously scheduled for October but postponed due to recent floods, with 85,192 candidates registered statewide.
