Bihar results: BJP’s Vijay Khemka eyes Purnia seat, leads by over 37,000 votes

BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Khemka leads the Purnia constituency by over 37,000 votes, polling 90,354 votes against Congress' Jitendra Kumar's 53,229, according to Election Commission trends. The elections took place in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results counted today. Khemka has been the sitting MLA since 2015, previously winning by substantial margins.
