Cyclone 'Ditwah' is expected to intensify as it approaches the north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts by November 30, bringing extremely heavy rainfall and strong winds, prompting a red alert. The IMD warns of potential flooding, damage to crops, and uprooted trees. Light to moderate rainfall is also anticipated in neighboring states. The cyclone is currently near Sri Lanka.
