Govt initiates action against SIs accused in robbery case

Two police sub-inspectors were sanctioned for their involvement in a robbery of a goldsmith in Karwar, with one dismissed and the other suspended. They, along with three associates, allegedly threatened the victim with a toy gun and stole gold worth over 78 grams. Investigations confirmed their guilt, and further inquiries into additional suspects are ongoing.
