Tamil Nadu police executed a major operation against synthetic drug trafficking, resulting in the arrest of a Mumbai supplier and foreign nationals linked to an inter-state drug cartel. The investigation revealed a sophisticated network involving payments routed through various states and coordination from inside Puzhal Prison. This crackdown began in October 2025 after the arrest of local peddlers.
