Intermittent fasting

2023 saw a rising trend of intermittent fasting that involves eating and fasting in cyclic intervals. This diet plan helps boost metabolism and allows one to eat food as per their choice.

Mediterranean diet

This year, the Mediterranean diet was one of the most adopted dietary plans, which requires you to eat mostly plant-based foods and small amounts of meat.

DASH diet

In one of the most successful weight loss trials in 2023, the DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) saw a rising trend. This plan focuses on eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats for weight loss.

Keto 2.0 diet

The modified ketogenic diet, also known as the Keto 2.0 diet, was tried by many people in 2023. It allowed one to maintain a healthier and more balanced diet rich in healthy fats, proteins and carbohydrates.

Flexitarian diet

The Flexitarian diet plan trended in 2023. It requires one to eat a plate full of fruits, vegetables. whole grains, meat or dairy and plant proteins such as beans, lentils and nuts in equal amounts.
