Elon Musk's Starlink internet service usage in Myanmar has plummeted from 14% to under 7% since September, following revelations of its connection to scam centres run by Chinese criminal groups. SpaceX deactivated over 2,500 receivers near these centres after a Congressional investigation, highlighting the military junta's complicity in the ongoing civil conflict since the 2021 coup.
