Rupee hits new all-time low of 90.72 vs Dollar with India-US trade deal in limbo

The Indian rupee fell to a record low of 90.58 against the US dollar on December 15, driven by trade deal uncertainties and foreign fund outflows. The currency opened at 90.53 but dropped 9 paise. Analysts warn that continued trade tensions could exacerbate its decline, marking its worst yearly performance since 2022 due to external pressures.
