Skoda Auto India Records Best Ever Sales in 2025 With 107% Year on Year
2025 turns into a landmark year for Skoda Auto India as strong product demand and network expansion drive record sales growth across the country.
Skoda Auto India wrapped up 2025 on a strong note, turning its 25th year in the country into its best sales year so far. The carmaker reported total sales of 72,665 units for the calendar year, which translates to a year-on-year growth of 107 per cent over the 35,166 units sold in 2024. This sharp rise underlines how 2025 became a turning point for the brand in India, both in terms of volume and overall market presence
A major contributor to this performance was the company’s refreshed and expanded product portfolio. The Kylaq emerged as a key volume driver, helping Skoda reach a wider set of buyers. It is the most affordable vehicle in the brand's portfolio. At the same time, models such as the Kushaq and Slavia continued to see steady demand, aided by limited edition variants that kept the lineup relevant. Higher up the range, the Kodiaq strengthened the brand’s position in the premium SUV space, while the return of the Octavia RS drew strong interest from enthusiasts and long-time Skoda loyalists.

Sales growth was also supported by a wider retail and service footprint. Over the year, Skoda Auto India expanded its network to more than 325 customer touchpoints spread across 183 cities. This expansion, carried out largely with existing dealer partners and select new ones, allowed the brand to improve accessibility and aftersales support in more parts of the country. The company also crossed the milestone of selling over 2,00,000 locally produced cars since 2021, reflecting the scale it has achieved in recent years.
Beyond products and reach, the brand focused on strengthening customer confidence. The combined sales and service workforce at dealerships grew to over 7,500 people. Ownership-related initiatives, including extended standard warranties and value-focused updates, were aimed at reducing long term ownership costs and improving the overall experience.
