Tata Motors launches Sierra in seven variants with three engine options, achieving over 70,000 bookings on the first day.
Tata Motors has announced that they have received over 70,000 bookings for the Sierra on the very first day of opening bookings. The brand also received an additional 1.35 lakh customers submitting their preferred configuration as they progress to complete booking formalities.
What is the price of the Tata Sierra?
The prices of the Sierra start at ₹11.49 lakh and go up to ₹21.29 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

Tata Motors offers the Sierra seven variants - Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+.

What are the engine options of the Tata Sierra?
The Sierra comes with three engine choices. Tata Motors has launched two new petrol engines from its Hyperion series. The first option is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 104 hp and 145 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The second petrol option features a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 157 hp and 255 Nm of torque. This engine is matched with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
In terms of diesel options, there is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that delivers 116 hp. It is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The torque output is 260 Nm with the manual gearbox and 280 Nm with the automatic.

Speaking on the booking milestone, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, thanked customers for the strong response, saying that it reaffirms the legendary status of the Tata Sierra. He added that staying true to its legacy of redefining norms, the Sierra has created a new Premium Mid-SUV category by reimagining what a mid-size SUV can offer. According to him, by enhancing space, comfort, luxury, safety, and everyday usability, the Sierra sets a new benchmark for the segment and stands as a symbol of progress, individuality, and aspiration.
