Jammu and Kashmir Police flagged 29 individuals with terror links, including relatives of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Jahangir Saroori, working on the Ratle hydroelectric project. Concerns about national security were raised in a letter to MEIL, urging close monitoring of these workers. Saroori, a key terrorist figure, has been linked to multiple killings in the region.
