The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana will continue its strike on Thursday, protesting the alleged assault of a lawyer in Nayagaon by police from Hisar. Despite the Punjab Police registering a criminal case, lawyers criticize the lack of accountability and diluted charges. The High Court is concerned about the impact of the strike on litigants and has urged lawyers to fulfill their duties.
