A Chandigarh Police assistant sub-inspector, Daljit Singh, crashed into 10 vehicles before colliding with a school bus while heavily intoxicated. Eyewitnesses reported his reckless driving and subsequent misbehavior. Despite his injuries, no complaints were filed, leading to a challan under the Motor Vehicles Act. Singh was already under suspension for prior misconduct, highlighting ongoing issues of alcohol misuse within the police force.
