Contractor leaves ailing labourer to die in park in Ludhiana. (HT FILE)

A contractor and his aide have been booked by local police in Ludhiana, India, for allegedly leaving a sick labourer in a park instead of taking him to the hospital. The labourer was later rushed to the hospital by locals, but unfortunately died. The police have filed an FIR and are currently searching for the accused. They are also trying to identify the victim in order to hand over his body to his family.
