The Jammu and Kashmir anti-corruption bureau (ACB) has booked Malik Tahir Gani, director of state motor garages, for disproportionate assets, following a secret verification revealing significant assets beyond his income. Searches at multiple locations yielded incriminating evidence. The ACB is continuing its investigation under the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988, targeting misconduct in public service.
