A Mohali court has convicted Jagtar Singh and Kanwar Vikram Singh for possessing counterfeit ₹2,000 notes, dating back to September 2017. The police seized 65 forged notes during a routine check. The court found the prosecution's case compelling, despite defense claims of false implication. Sentencing will be decided later, while Jagtar was acquitted of a driving charge.
