Kanwar Digvijay Singh, a 30-year-old kabaddi player, was shot dead in Mohali by assailants from the Lucky Patial gang during a tournament. Police are pursuing the identified shooters, Aditya Kapoor and Karan Pathak, and have set up twelve teams for the investigation, citing gang rivalry as the motive. Balachauria was recently married, and the incident raises concerns about Punjab's law and order under the current government.
