Several private schools in Amritsar received bomb threats via email on Friday, prompting immediate evacuations and a citywide closure of all schools. Authorities, including police and bomb disposal teams, are investigating the threats, which may be hoaxes linked to past incidents. Amritsar police commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar emphasized the need for calm, as similar threats were unfounded before.
