Professor Bharat Bhushan Goyal of Panjab University has been remanded to 14 days in Burail Jail, following his arrest in the murder of his wife, Seema Goyal, in November 2021. Police sought to recover evidence and confront him with their daughter. Goyal, initially the complainant, was identified as the primary suspect after forensic analysis.
