The Punjab government has promoted 12 IPS officers to deputy inspector general (DIG) and three to inspector general (IG) ranks, effective immediately. Among those elevated, DIGs include Snehdeep Sharma and Dhruv Dahiya, while IGs comprise Jagdale Nilambari Vijay and Rahul S. Additionally, three IAS officers have been promoted to the supertime scale.
