Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted extensive raids targeting residences and businesses linked to Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) across major districts in Kashmir, aiming to dismantle terror networks amid rising violence. The operations resulted in the seizure of electronic devices and documents, although no incriminating materials were found. JeI has been banned since 2019 due to militant ties.
