The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has proposed significant amendments to the Master Plan of Delhi, 2021, by liberalizing the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) policy, allowing high-rise hubs and mixed-use nodes across 207 square kilometers. Key changes include reducing minimum plot size by 80% and increasing floor area ratio to 400–500, aiming to enhance affordable housing and promote mass transit while maintaining ecological protections.
