Delhi set for revamped TOD policy to connect metro with high-footfall areas through walkways: Khattar
New Delhi will soon implement a revamped transit-oriented development (TOD) policy, enhancing connectivity between metro stations and high-footfall areas through elevated walkways or underground subways, as announced by Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The initiative aims to address first-mile and last-mile connectivity gaps for commuters. Despite delays in previous TOD projects, the new framework is set for rollout within a month.
