The Delhi Urban Arts Commission (DUAC) has rejected the New Delhi Municipal Council's proposal to demolish and reconstruct Assam Bhawan, citing inadequate design details and a lack of cultural reflection. While DUAC seeks essential architectural elements and comprehensive plans, the revised plans for Bihar Niwas were approved after two rejections for similar reasons.
