Nearly half of Delhi's construction and demolition (C&D) waste sites lack effective dust control measures, exacerbating air quality issues, as reported by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. With a daily processing gap of 1,000 tonnes and a new plant not expected until December 2026, illegal dumping persists, highlighting inadequate awareness and enforcement. The city generates over 6,000 tonnes of C&D waste daily.
