Minister of State for Environment Kirtivardhan Singh visited the Delhi Zoo to review conservation efforts, naming two female white tiger cubs “Durga” and “Devi,” and releasing one for public viewing. He also named Asiatic lion cubs “Kartik” and “Karni.” Singh emphasized animal welfare and suggested improvements after recent incidents of animal escapes and a python's death.
