Oral, lung cancers show sharpest rise in Delhi, breast cancer tops list: Ministry data
In 2025, Delhi recorded a significant rise in oral cancer cases by 5.1% and lung cancer by 4.9%, according to the Union health ministry. Among women, lung cancer surged 6.5% to 686 cases, while oral cancer among men increased 5.8% to 2,717 cases. Breast cancer remains the most prevalent, with steady annual growth.
