Stubble smoke, cold winds keep Delhi covered in haze
Cold northwesterly winds have led to poor air quality in Delhi, with the 24-hour average AQI reaching 322 on Friday, attributed partly to stubble burning, which contributed 8.68% to PM 2.5 levels. Visibility improved slightly during the day, but pollution remains a significant issue, exacerbated by ongoing stubble burning from Punjab and Haryana, which typically peaks in early November.
