The AN Jha Deer Park in Delhi faces uncertainty after the Central Zoo Authority revoked its zoo license in June 2023 due to animal care failures. Of 600 deer, nearly 400 remain without legal recognition or management. The Supreme Court's stay on relocation has left the Delhi Development Authority responsible for their welfare, raising concerns among conservationists about inbreeding and habitat adequacy.
