25-year-old airline crew member dies during party in Gurugram, probe on
The 25-year-old reportedly developed breathing trouble at a friend’s rented flat and died at a private hospital early Sunday.
A 25-year-old woman was found dead during a weekend party at her friend’s rented apartment in DLF Phase-1 early Sunday morning, police said.
The woman, identified as Simran Dadwal, an air hostess with an Indian airline and a resident of Mohali in Punjab, allegedly developed breathing difficulties while partying, officials privy to the matter said. She was taken to a nearby private hospital by her friends but died during treatment.
“She was working with the airline for the past two years and was living in Delhi. She had come to Gurugram on Saturday to meet her friends. The deceased had troubled breathing at around 5am,” said a senior official at DLF Phase-I police station, requesting anonymity.
Police said they were alerted by hospital staff. “A team was immediately dispatched to the spot to take the body to the local mortuary for an autopsy,” said Inspector Rajesh Kumar, station in charge of DLF Phase-1.

Kumar said the woman’s parents, who reached Gurugram on Sunday, demanded a post-mortem to rule out any ulterior motive. “Further action will be decided based on the autopsy report,” he said.
