The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will assume responsibility for the operation and maintenance of streetlights on major roads, including sectors 68 to 80, while strengthening its electricity division. Smart streetlights are being installed, monitored via an Integrated Command and Control Center. The GMDA has completed 835 smart lights installation along 10.35 km, with plans for further expansion.
