Waste fires push Gurugram AQI to very poor as residents raise alarm

Gurugram's air quality plunged to "very poor," with an AQI of 345 on Monday, exacerbated by ongoing waste fires across multiple sectors since Diwali. Residents reported frequent burning, contributing to serious health risks, particularly for children and the elderly. Despite intensified enforcement efforts, pollution levels remain alarming, with Gurugram ranked fourth in Delhi-NCR for pollution.
