The BJP accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of intimidating Election Commission officials during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. BJP spokesperson Guru Prakash Paswan claimed Banerjee's actions were politically motivated, citing reports of threats to booth-level officers. Banerjee, in response, warned of severe consequences from the SIR's chaotic implementation, alleging it led to multiple deaths.
