CBI court jails 3 for Rs1-cr SGRY scam in Ballia

A special CBI court in Lucknow sentenced three individuals, including a senior DRDA official, to five years in prison for causing a wrongful loss exceeding ₹1 crore to the government under the Sampurna Grameen Rozgar Yojana. The court found them guilty of financial irregularities, forgery, and misappropriation. The case dates back to a 2006 investigation involving 135 accused.
