Passengers can now tip cab drivers post-ride and choose drivers of the same gender, following amendments to the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, 2025, aimed at enhancing safety and driver welfare. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has mandated these changes, ensuring tips go directly to drivers and enabling female passengers to select female drivers. The revisions reflect a commitment to passenger safety and fair treatment of drivers.
