In a significant effort to enhance road safety, Uttar Pradesh Police will recruit 5,000 trained traffic personnel within three weeks, completing their specialized training by early January. This initiative aligns with CM Yogi Adityanath’s road safety month directive, aiming to reduce accidents through awareness campaigns and stricter traffic enforcement, particularly in urban centers. The program supports the “Zero Fatality Plan” to minimize road deaths.
