7-year-old boy killed after bike hits pothole, run over by truck in Palghar

A seven-year-old boy, Harsh Thori, was killed after falling off a two-wheeler that hit a pothole on the Parol–Shirsad–Ambadi road in Palghar district. Following the fall, a heavy vehicle ran over him. His parents and sister sustained minor injuries. The police have arrested the truck driver and cited increased heavy vehicle traffic due to recent restrictions in Thane.
