With only two days left for BMC poll nominations, the BJP and Shiv Sena remain deadlocked over a seat-sharing agreement, having agreed on 207 of 227 seats. Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde insists on contesting nearly 100 seats, while the BJP aims for 100 and is reluctant to give up key constituencies. The final agreement will likely be announced post-nominations.
