A year after a Ghatkopar billboard collapse killed 17 and injured over 75, Mumbai's BMC has yet to finalize its revised hoarding policy, despite a detailed probe and draft proposal. The halted permissions have cost the city ₹16–17 crore in potential fees. The new policy aims to tighten regulations but remains pending approval from municipal authorities.
