Businessman duped of <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>74 lakh by man posing as CM’s aide

A businessman from Santacruz, Alpesh Ratilal Patel, was allegedly swindled of ₹74 lakh by Vaibhav Thakkar, who posed as the personal assistant of Maharashtra's Chief Minister. Thakkar claimed he could expedite Patel's pending court cases. After several meetings and threats, Patel paid by mortgaging family jewelry. Thakkar later vanished, prompting Patel to file a complaint with the police.
