Doctor sentenced to five years RI for sexually assaulting minor patient

A Mumbai POCSO court has sentenced a 37-year-old doctor to five years’ rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl during treatment at his clinic in June 2019. The court found the survivor's testimony reliable, rejecting the doctor’s claims of false implication due to unpaid medical bills.
