As the Navi Mumbai International Airport prepares to open next month, the railways plan to enhance connectivity by introducing 10 additional trains on the Nerul/Belapur-Uran corridor. Two new stations, Targhar and Gavhan, are nearing completion. Despite delays due to local elections, operations may commence before formal inaugurations, improving service frequency and easing commuter congestion.
