Rly staff to get ID cards, uniforms with QR codes to prevent overcharging

IRCTC is implementing new uniforms with QR codes and helpline numbers for staff on long-distance trains to combat overcharging complaints. This initiative, set to launch during the Christmas-New Year period, includes ID cards for staff and aims to facilitate digital payments. Over 100 complaints daily are reported in the western zone, with a significant portion related to overcharging.
