Teacher booked for making 14-year-old appear for exam under false identity

MUMBAI: A tuition teacher has been booked for allegedly arranging a 14-year-old boy to take a maths exam on another student's behalf. The boy was caught cheating during the Mathematics Proficiency Examination organized by the Mathematics Teachers’ Association. He was questioned and released, while the teacher faces charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the IT Act.
