Ghaziabad air improves after 8 days of ‘severe’ AQI, NCR cities log another day of toxic haze
Ghaziabad's air quality index (AQI) improved slightly from "severe" to 396, but remains in the "very poor" category following eight days of hazardous pollution, according to the CPCB. Hapur recorded the highest AQI at 416. November has seen the worst air quality since 2022, with Ghaziabad logging 13 "very poor" days. Pollution control measures are ongoing.
