Two elderly residents of Greater Noida were scammed out of over ₹50 lakh through cyber attacks involving hacked mobile phones. A 60-year-old lost ₹27 lakh after clicking a malicious link in an SMS, while a 59-year-old was duped of ₹23.5 lakh by a fraudulent call regarding meter verification. Investigations are ongoing, but no arrests have been made.
