In Gurugram, 861 of 2,249 inspected high-rise buildings are operating with expired fire no-objection certificates (NOCs), posing significant safety risks. The fire department issues notices for defunct equipment, which must be renewed every three years. Residents in sectors 107 and 109 have reported non-functional firefighting systems for years, leading to multiple fire incidents.
