The Maharashtra government has reconstituted district-level vigilance committees to ensure transparent Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. Following a review revealing inadequate arrangements at exam centres, the new committees, led by district collectors, will include key officials from various departments to enhance monitoring and address malpractices. This initiative stems from a directive originally issued in 2002.
