Pune: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the School of Defence and Aerospace Technology during the sixth convocation ceremony of Symbiosis Skills and Professional University on Thursday.
The initiative aims to strengthen India’s defence innovation ecosystem and promote research, innovation, and industry collaboration in the fields of defence and aerospace — areas crucial to national security and self-reliance.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend the event as the guest of honour, while several senior leaders will also be present.
The event will begin at 10:30 am at the Symbiosis Skills and Professional University campus on the Pune–Mumbai Expressway in Kiwale.
The ceremony will also celebrate the achievements of 1,532 graduating students from various skill-based and professional programmes.
