India defeat South Africa, dew with all-round show

India secured a 17-run victory over South Africa in the Ranchi ODI, defending 349 runs after a strong start from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who contributed to 80 runs in the powerplay. Key bowlers Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh dismissed crucial early wickets, setting the tone for the match as Kuldeep Yadav excelled with four wickets.
